This is the community asset map web page for the towns of Maplewood NJ and South Orange NJ. These two political entities share a school district and have consciously decided to share one community. Therefore, this asset map is not exclusive of any location in either town.

OPEN/POI Middle School Challenge
January 12, 2009Now, our new partnership with Celebrate New Jersey, the organization that brought you NJPOI, is helping OPENMaps reach Middle School students.
Middle School students and their teachers are uniquely suited to build an asset map for your community. Such a project will be a great experience for them, and create this important web presence for your town. Some New Jersey communities are already beginning an OPENMaps after school club this spring!
